Hoffwn longyfarch holl ddisgyblion a staff Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg ar ganlyniadau TGAU arbennig eleni. Yn dilyn canlyniadau Safon Uwch gwych yr wythnos ddiwethaf braf yw nodi bod 67% (cynnydd o 2 % ers 2017) o ddisgyblion yr ysgol wedi llwyddo i sicrhau’r Trothwy Lefel 2+ (5 TGAU gan gynnwys Cymraeg neu Saesneg, Mathemateg a’r Fagloriaeth) a bod 84% (cynnydd o 1% ers 2017) o ddisgyblion wedi sicrhau 5 neu fwy o gymhwysterau Lefel 2. I wish to congratulate all pupils and staff of Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg on the impressive GCSE results announced today. Following an excellent set of A level results last week, it is with pleasure that I announce that 67% (2% improvement since 2017)of pupils gained the Level 2+ (5 GCSEs including Welsh or English and Mathematics) and that 84% of pupils (1% improvement) have gained five or more Level 2 qualifications. The past two years have seen significant changes in the GCSE courses and it is pleasing to note that 28% (3% improvement) of the cohort achieved 5 or more A* / A grades which included Mathematics and English or Welsh and is testimony to the endeavours of the departments. We are extremely pleased that every pupil will leave the school this year with a qualification. Pupils of all abilities have succeeded and deserve to celebrate their success.
